Engagements - Kasi & James

So I am not very good at this blogging thing.  Everyone who know me knows that I am a really good talker and not so good of a writer.  My daughter is the writer of the family.  I got to meet this wonderful couple a month ago.  This is James and Kasi.  Their wedding is next month and this was my first engagement session.  I really enjoyed it inspite of the fact that I was sick, sick, sick.  I even forgot how awful I felt for most of it.  They were good sports even though some things I asked them to do sounded  pretty funny. Kasi and James, I hope you have a wonderful engagement and an even greater wedding!

Jaim Connor - Seniors

Meet Jaim.  I have known him since he was 2 years old.  He is an amazing kid!!  He is always in a good, cheerful mood.  He is thoughtful and caring.  He never lets life circumstanes get him down.  He is an inspiration to me and many others!  Thanks Jaim for the privilage of being a part of this exciting time in your life!

The faces of Ellie

Oh my sweet Ellie!  How expressive she is!  I love to take her pictures if I can nail her down long enough to even just focus before she is off and running.  Today I was lucky!  We went to the Rod and Gun Club with Robin today, it was so beautiful out.  He shot his new bow and I just followed Ellie around and made sure she was safe and snapped away while she played and ran around.  I think I got some pretty fun shots of her expressions!

Gideon Lager

Meet Gideon , he was born on February 17, 2010.  He is a little peanut!  Some friends say little Gideon looks like Crush, the turtle off of "Finding Nemo." And I have to say I agree!  Their friends bought him a stuffed sea turtle for a gift and his mom, Gena, asked if we could use it in his pictures.  It is my favorite one!  Good idea mom.  Thanks Gena for letting me spend a day with sweet, little Gideon.  What a beautiful gift from God!  Enjoy!

Ava Catherine Bybee

This is my newest niece Ava Catherine Bybee.  Isn't she adorable?  My sister and brother graciously let me come over and try my hand at babies.  It was challenging and long yet, a lot of fun!  I got to play with a baby all day!  While I was shooting I would just stop and stare at her, I couldn't get past the amazement of how precious and beautiful she is!  And she is the bottom of  7 kids in their family so you would think that I am used to it by now.  Especially since I have 4 of my own!  You never get past the amazement and awe of new born babies!!  

I still remember my kids as newborns like it was yesterday!  I always hated it when my parents would say that to me, and look, I am saying it now!  What wonderful gifts they are!  How fast they grow up on you.  We are delighted to have you with us little Ava Catherine!
